Xcaret Tips And Info

Question: Should we buy our excursion like xcaret, explor...online it cheaper or buy at our hotel?

Not sure but it seems like you are asking the same question therefore I will give the same answer Sorry but you will not find a cheaper ticket unless it is connected to a scam. So as everyone else has said NO.. Best to book at your hotel. You may find a discount on the travel but Xcaret and Xplore provide transportation.

As playa dude said, we have answered this question just recently, and the answer is the same. If you try for cheap tickets, your going to get ripped off. Book through your hotel or resort.

If you stay at Flamingo Xcaret hotel the tickets to Xcaret are included. Flamingo Xcaret can be expensive but I discovered they can have great prices depending on the season. It's better if you wait, tourists tend to get all sort of coupons upon their arrival, so wait.

A year ago at our resort the prices seemed to be similar to online*. The bigger deal to me was that it was cheaper to charge the ticket in USD than pay in pesos because (AT THE TIME) the hotel vendor was giving a better rate than I got for my pesos at my own bank. *I am sure some online vendors are honest (but who knows which ones for sure). My wife bought a tour to Chitzen Itza online without problem. [Would be terrible if I had to say we were just lucky ... but credit card payment helps you fight fraud if need be.] {Go through your travel agent if you want to pre-purchase. They should know.} But if you wait until you get there, then you can always change your mind or your plans. [We ran out of time and ended up not going - which was a bit of a disappointment.] Note: take (or buy there) oil-less organic (?) suntan lotion (required - so you do not pollute the water in the water parks). But trust Playa-dude. He knows his stuff.
